We met EEP (European EMC Products) when they were looking for an Essex IT support service to take over their IT management. With a focus on building business resilience through robust cyber security and a reliably managed system, we helped EEP with an entire, brand-new IT infrastructure and a solid, managed IT support plan.

The problem…

EEP needed IT support in Essex for their Saffron Walden office and for remote teams. With an aging server and pressure on staff to look after daily IT maintenance, EEP’s setup needed looking at holistically to improve cyber security, staff productivity and cost efficiency.

1. An aging server that relied on manual backups being done by hand
2. No standardisation of software between devices and missing basic services like Microsoft 365 
3. Very expensive services and lack of confidence in previous provider

When we heard from EEP, we knew we could help by taking a strategic and sustainable approach to their setup.

The solution…

1. Analyse the entire IT infrastructure holistically, to provide a strategic restructure of systems that would support hybrid-working and champion leading cyber security
2. Upgrade all aging and out-of-warranty hardware, to ensure systems are running safely, efficiently and cost-effectively and confidential company data is securely stored
3. Provide those working at EEP with round-the-clock IT support to alleviate pressure on busy staff and in turn boost productivity 

How we did it…

We’re proud to have worked with EEP to completely overhaul their IT infrastructure, all the while supporting their existing systems with an ongoing, fully Managed IT plan.

1. We replaced their entire hardware infrastructure, including their server and rack, cloud backup system, phone system, network technology and staff computers
2. We installed a super fast 10GbE network connection between all primary infrastructure to enable fast backups and inter-network connectivity
3. We rolled out vital new software such as Microsoft 365, productivity and security apps and an MDM (mobile device management)
